All our Dachshund Superfood recipes are free from artificial colours, preservatives and additives and because they contain no wheat or ‘derivatives’, no added salt, sugar, or soy, are gluten free and/or grain free, they’re one of the best wet food choices you can make for small sensitive stomachs. Plus, they’re made with human grade ingredients and over 60% meat!
Formulated in a ‘pâté’ style, these new recipes can be mixed with our Superfood kibble as either a meaty topper or 50/50 moist mixture, with some added water to the bowl, they can also create a tasty gravy. With so much versatility, you can concoct your own Mealtime Magic with enough tempting options to whet the appetite of even the fussiest eaters!
COMBINATION FEEDING GUIDELINES
- If you want to feed 50% Superfood Kibble, 50% wet, use the feeding guidelines for each and provide half as much daily. The feeding guides are on the individual packages.
- If you want to feed 75% Superfood Kibble, 25% wet, use the feeding guidelines for each and calculate how much 75% would be for providing dry and 25% of the feeding guidelines for our wet food trays.
- Adjust these amounts over time to achieve ideal body weight. Body condition and weights will fluctuate with activity levels, climate, and age. In addition, we recommend weighing your Sausage Dogs food for better accuracy.
Dachshund Superfood Premium Pate Wet Trays can be kept at room temperature for up to 12 months (but away from heat sources such as sunlight and radiators) until opened. Once opened the trays should be refrigerated and used within 2-3 days. The trays are also safe to freeze.

We use the Chicken and Sweet Potato Casserole 25% along with 75% small superfood kibble. I have been reluctant in past to give Ruby kibble as it’ like watching a game of “hungry hippos”. The use of slow feeder bowl with mix of foods has drastically improved meal times for both of use. It has slowed Ruby down and l believe she gets more enjoyment from the changes to both food and bowl. The versatility of the trays of food enable you to give a portion straight from tray or to mix with little warm water and kibble varying consistency. A Great bowl would recommend.
